Pennsylvania State Police will be conducting DUI checkpoints throughout Harrisburg and Dauphin County during the holiday weekend.  Drivers should expect delays and traffic.

Additionally, this year there is a big push to crackdown on drunk boaters and Dauphin County District Attorney Ed Marsico has confirmed that there will be more police out on the waterways this holiday weekend. (See the penalties for Boating under the influence- BUI)

Drivers and boaters are advised to use their best discretion.  If you plan on going out, then please watch this video so you know what to do in case you are arrested for a DUI:
