Beware this Halloween, as Berks County law enforcement officials will be conducting sobriety checks and carrying out DUI patrols. As part of the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” public safety campaign, it’s common for law enforcement teams to set up sobriety checkpoints during holidays or weekends. Roving DUI patrols will  also be deployed to watch out for drunk drivers.

Law enforcement targets high traffic weekends especially ones when people will be out partying.  You can expect to see a heavy police presence this weekend and also in the coming weeks for Thanksgiving.
